Alcazaba nightclub remained a Miami hot Spot for over 20 years.It was popular for it"s Wednesday Happy Hour , a meeting place for ' cuppies' ( CUBAN yuppies) , by 6;00 pm the dancefloor would be jam-packed with Salsa dancers,It was the only place in Miami where you could hear the true Disco Classics of the 70s thanks to DJ Alex Gutierrez. It closed in april of 2009 and is sorely missed.

We were there for Thanksgiving Wednesday 2010 and got to see all those familiar faces once again... nice!!! Thanks for the GrEaT ViDeO!!

My memories at Alcazaba will remain in my heart forever and ever. After clubs like the Forest Teen Disco, Casanova, Back Streets, Pete 'N Lenny, Level 3 and Scaramuch just to name a few, Alcazaba filled my heart with wonderful memories of those one of a kind Disco days. Thank you Dj Alex Gutierrez for the wonderful memories; will miss you most Tammy. Love all you guys. Carlos Heredia
