@BrighterThunder I'm not advocating a religious viewpoint, but please tell me you're aware that not everyone who believes in God thinks of God as "a large bearded man." Some people think he's clean-shaven, for instance. No, I joke. But seriously, there are many, much more complex conceptions of God out there, some of which really are not all that incompatible with the spirit of scientific inquiry.
