I like Soft Machine's live albums, but studio albums make me sleepy except "3", "Bundles" and "Softs". I recommend you "Hazard Profile pt.1". Nucleus is nice until at least 1976, I recommend you "Song For A beared Lady".
This is my favourite album. The support members are Nucleus. Jenkins' jazzy and minimalistic piano play is cool, especially, Chris Spedding's guitar play is wonderful...probably it's the best in his career.

Nucleus is less famous than Soft Machine, but as much as nice.
