4 banger? the cherokee is a six banger and its kinda hard to really get it to slide around with 22's!!! your mustang is a 4 banger you should get a honda dude?

@aaabball415 A Lot of people do!! Just becus the car says jeep dosent mean it has to have a lift kit on it with big off road tires!! If Its a wrangler then yes i should but on a grand cherokee come on man!!

@luavina yea it is how you treat them, i have a 2000 modle and done over 318000 kms or 198000 miles with only a worn out gearbox but still drives fine.

@elpako89 NO IT WAS THE COMPUTERS IN THEM FROM 97 TO 2000. CUZ I HAD A 2000 MODULE AND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT NOW I HAVE A 2003 MODULE WITH NO PROBLEMS WITH 24" ON IT!!!!

I been wanting a cherokee, but every tells me that most of them from 2000- to idk came out defected by that I mean engine problems.

@elpako89 well i had my jeep for 9 years put almost 100k miles on the engine so its up to 151 and had not problems what so ever i did change the trasmission cuz of the burn outs with 22s i guess they too heavy but that was my fault :) have had friends with 2002 jeeps and they all had problems with them over heating since those years the fan is electric not clutch like the 2000 model. But i guess it all depends how u treat it my sister has a 2005 grand cherokee and she has had a lot of problems
