do the softness of the wheels play a part in how well they slide becuas ei cant get mine to move at all

@biggsforwin yes, the harder the wheel, the easier it is to slide... Sliding is possible on softer wheels though- just have to push out the slide more forcefully, and go faster

@biggsforwin try going for round wheel lips instead of sharp or square ones. 78a is a bit hard to slide, but once you wear them down, they slide pretty well. another thing is that a lot of people tend to say that a softer wheel will give a smoother slide.

@biggsforwin mine are the same size and duro, can't slide em worth crap. Cadillac wheels, they grip like a mofo while carvin a hill though.
