The Swine Flu Ballad - A Pig Parody

I was inspired by my seventh graders to write this tune. I don't want to belittle anyone that has H1N1 Influenza A, hopefully they can get a laugh out of and drink plenty of fluids and get better. Laughter is still the best medicine, that and tamiflu. You cannot get H1N1 Influenza A from eating Pork.

I caught the virus H1N1 Influenza A
It came from Mexico just the other day.
It's a Phase 5 epidemic home to home it hops
It makes me feel ill, What's for dinner? Oh not Pork Chops.
I used to eat bacon it goes good with eggs and toast.
Now I want to hurl when you mention pork roast.
Sorry I am quarantined so I cannot meet cha
Even when you make your famous carnitas
Oh please someone stab me with a fork
If any one else mentions some kinda pork
No Hoof no Mouth no disgusting fat pig
