During a dressage event the previous day, Blessi managed to untie himself from the trailer and eat 10 doughnuts. Needless to say, he did not do well in his next test. Somebody saved the doughnut box so I was able to recreate Bless's reaction (minus the doughnuts). Blessi suffered no ill effects from his binge. I do not advocate feeding doughnuts to horses.   • That's the same gesture that my guys do to knock dirt off grass clumps they rip out of the ground. Seems it works for bakery goods too.
