That's about the dumbest wall placement I've ever seen. That was an accident waiting to happen.

the wing comes up at 70mph so it doesnt necesarilly have to have gone up to 150mph

What a stupid tv report. It was obvious that they had no clue what they were talking about.

The track was indeed rented by a group of Ferrari enthusiasts. On the segment where the accident occurred was also the entry zone from the pits to the track. The driver of the Carrera GT reportedly had to swerve to avoid an entering Ferrari, which was given the allowance to go onto the track despite the Porsche approaching. The placement of the concrete barrier is indeed tragic.
