  • Do you have any advice or recommendations on eliminating engine noise?

  • @David279300 Engine noise either enters the radios through the power cord or the antenna. If you remove the antenna is the noise still present? If so a power cord filter such as the new one made by RF Limited can eliminate noise quite well.

  • can you put a r f x 75 on this radio

  • My friends have CBs. When they talk on 14 low, I can't understand them. I can go to 13 low and hear them fine, but I have to go to 14 low to talk to them. What can be the problem.

  • @bigwillysmooth1 do u have your radio in a vehicle? and if so, do u have any trouble with engine noise?

  • @cbradiomagazine.. Im also having trouble with engine noise. My testing reports says "sounds good loud & clear" but with the truck running, im still getting engine noise. I first thought it may be my ground wire, so i moved that to the frame rail (bare metal) and im still getting the noise. Do you have any advice or recommendations?

  • Those functions don't effect RX or TX only meter funtion. Most people will leave the meter set to S/RF for normal operation.
