That swing and a miss is exactly why I'm upset with the Yankees that they don't develop more in the way of young hitting. A good young hitter does swing and miss at that pitch, he does damage on it. A Rod doesn't have bat speed anymore, this team swings and misses at too many hittable pitches and isn't enough about contact and damage. Forget about how many homeruns this team hits, you need more of those 320 hitters like Bernie Williams in his prime who can foul off 10 pitches.
