I know it's probably too late and I dunno what you picked but I know someone at most of those schools. I heard good things about them all so you can't go wrong!

That depends... are you in school? I applied through my university. If you are ask someone in your International Education department what your options are.
If not I think you should look into the programs of the schools in your area because often they allow people who are not students to apply.
Also just google schools either in America or Japan that allow study in a Japanese university. Many have programs available.

This is very helpful I plan on studying abroad in the future ^-^ Do you have any advice that you could give me that would could help me when applying for scholarships or shoosing a school?

Look into everyone school you want to apply to to make sure you know what program is the best fit for you and your goals. When applying for scholarships mention your goals and how the program will help you reach them and refrain from mentioning anime and J-pop.
