@StadiumComics ok thanks i was wondering. im a comic noob i just ordered green arrow 1 and 2 detective comic 1 and 2 and also nightwing 1 and 2 for 42$!! now im not a comic book expert but in know thats way to much to pay! i orderd them off of amazon the closest comic store is lke 40 miles away from here and sometimes they dont have the new issues :( so id rather just save time and gas

The classic of the classics of comic books. What better book to recommend than the genius of Alan Moore's "Watchmen"? It's more than just a comic or graphic novel. Watchmen is a time piece of the late-Twentieth Century.

Since reading the walking dead from issue one, this drama/action/horror should appeal to everyone. Characters to relate to in some sort of way and the questions what will happen next, cause everything is in the air. Since I live in Macon GA, Glen was my Dominos delivery boy lol.

Batwing because the story and art is freaking awesome but also because Batwing is so awsome he is probaly my favourite Bat Family charecter, zoinks I almost forgot any comic that Marcus To pencils is also awesome.

I always recommend people who have never read any comic book to read Watchmen first, even though it isn't my favorite one. It's just THAT classic.

what the heck is a 2nd printing or 3rd printing what do they mean??

@stephen123453 Basically - when the publisher sells out of it's entire print run on a comic, they'll send it back to press a second time, or sometimes even a third or fourth time, to meet demand of the customers who need the book. These subsequent printings are sometimes less desired, and sometimes more desired by collectors. Also, a 2nd or 3rd printing will usually have alternate artwork for the cover, or a different colour scheme - but the book inside is the same.

The best advice I could ever give is to have people pick up the Walking Dead. I can't believe how much that book just pulled me in and hooked me from day one! I picked up trade paper back just because I had heard so much about it and ended up buying every single one soon after. This is the type of story telling that made me happy to get back into comics after a very long break.
