I wasn't referring to "haters". I was thinking of "friendships" and the levels of "love" that happens here on YT. Once hurt from the people you trusted makes it hard to stay around. :-)

I'm not sure if this helps, but after searching for local parkour videos here on youtube, I found a parkour group on facebook and will be meeting them tomorrow for a training run. I never would have been able to meet these people who share similar interests and hobbies with me if it hadn't been for youtube and facebook.. I'm thankful. It's not necessary but in order for my tomorrow to have plans, it certainly was necessary.

That's a great example of what sites like YT can do for us.
I'm met quite a few local people, i would never have met, if it hadn't been for Twitter & YT.
I've watched a few parkour videos myself. I find that fascinating :)

I'm not on YouTube because I need it... I'm on YouTube because I still want to make videos... I'm not sure I want a lot of relationships on here to get any deeper. I'm kind of a loner. Still, if there are great interesting people out there I often find them after sifting through channels that don't appeal to me...

I didn't come here looking for people, or relationships either. But, there are so many interesting people here, it seems a pity not to get to know them a little :)

Interesting videos...yours and the LONG one...:-)
I have many theories as to why people stay and why they move on. One of my "theories" why people move on, (that I haven't heard discussed yet) is that people can get really hurt by others out here. After experiencing the kind of pain that changes who you are, it can make it difficult to come back to the "scene of the crime" so to speak. Ahhhh...the risks of opening yourself up to others and being alive...:-)

Thanks.
I know how you feel about the haters etc. They are a big turn off for a lot of people here, which is a great pity.
I totally understand why they make some leave YT & that's something that does need to be recognised.
if only that were not so :)
