Teach us to Pray

Have you ever thought about how the God of the universe hears our prayer, when there are billions of us praying to Him at the same time? Jesus taught us to pray, and this video represents people from different at different ages and different walks of life praying the "Our Father" today.

Do you guys really believe that there's a God above the world? Watching over us? If he is, then why is there so much trouble in this world? So much to question, if he is there, then why did he gave us human a brain, what makes people wonder is there really is someone up there ?

I don't believe in a god up there.

@Yapiej I'm sorry it's taken me so long to see you post. I do believe that God is watching over us. Take a moment and step away from your own world and look at everything around you. Where did it come from? was it by accident? Do you think that was randomly put there? I promise you it wasn't. Now that you have see all of creation, zoom back to yourself. The God of the universe who is big enough to create all of these things, is also big enough to listen to you. You can't put God in a box.

We are in the process of embarking on a 24 hour prayer for an entire week. As a church, our weakness is passionate prayer... we are Reformed not Pentacostal! This has really helped me focus on prayer and just get in the right mind set of it.

No one can ever know the mind of God, he is too wise for us to fathom. But one thing I do know: God gave us trouble so that by going through these hardships we would see how in need we are and turn to him. God gave us a brain because we, unlike the animals, are his chosen ones. We have the ability to choose to believe in him or not. As for what makes us believe... there is so much evidence.God says "Blessed are those who have not seen yet have believed" Hope I could help you. God bless =)

@Yapiej This is the devil's playground. God loves us but He gives us free will and so many choose to not follow Him. So many walk in their own will and don't care about God at all. His ways are not easy but God is always working to strengthen us for His will and purpose Hde has for us. Many of us have been through SOOOOO MUCH but we praise God through the storm. NOTHING can compare to what God did, giving Jesus, His only Son to be be beaten and die hanging on a tree for US.

You are right to be questioning. But at some point, we have to just turn it over to Him.  He will reveal Himself to you if you give yourself to Jesus Christ and accept what He did for you. You do not have to understand everything, just Believe and Confess that Jesus is Lord! I will be praying for you.

Almost 3 years ago I gave it all to Christ. I knew very little about the Bible, and what I did know I questioned whether it was true, but after that day things started changing. I no longer wanted to do the things that I did before. I had a desire, a want to find a church, to buy a Bible, to learn about God. 3 years later I can honestly tell you that I am not the man I once was. Allowing God to change my life has changed by marriage, my family, my life. (post continued)

@Yapiej I do not believe your questions are dumb. God gave us a human brain so that we would question, and wonder. We were made to seek out God. I cannot prove to you that God exists. But He does not ask me to do that. He wants me to be His witness not his lawyer. All I can do is tell you what He has done in my life. How do I know there is a God? Because He has revealed Himself to me by transforming my life. (post continued)

@jlapenna717 I answer quicker lol, got nothing to do right now.. I'm not saying that it was by accident, i'm not saying it was randomly put there, btw every single day matter dubbles its own. How can you prove someone above is there? I can't see it, I'm sorry. But why was the world created then? Btw do people really believe the stories of the bible or do they see them as just mythological stories? (Maybe the last question sounded dumb, but I really wonder.)
