I made a trailer for one of my very favorite movies, "The Darjeeling Limited," directed by Wes Anderson. I used this in a speech I gave for my Comm class.

The music in the trailer includes two songs from Satyajit Ray films, and a song called "Powerman" by The Kinks.

the technical term for the sound is lo-fi. Even though wes anderson DID take his music from old films, there are still songs being produced for that sound today. Look up Early Devendra Banhardt from 2002 or Bright Eyes...also in 2002. Also, rad trailer Derek. keep it up.

It still sounds a little like it's being played on an old tape recorder. Not sure what the technical term for that is.

The technical term for that is "Wes Anderson took a bunch of old music directly from old Indian films." lol
The sound you're hearing is original to the source.
