I suck at cloning!!!! i know how to do it but I'm not good at it AT ALL. you can see the dividing line! oh well... it's about the concept. i also have bruises on my knuckles from slamming my piano but that was the only way to get the sound I wanted!! anyway, the next book I have to write a song for is "The Boy In the Striped Pajamas"...i finished it but I have no idea what direction I'll take with it...

Here are the lyrics:

For your protection your defense your
Thoughts must be censored
Can't have you claiming false conjectures
That we've declared untrue
You will be civil. You'll obey.
You'll do exactly as we say.
There's no need to be afraid
It's for the betterment of you.

I am a subject of the present
I am a keeper of the past
I am a voice of my future
And I'm being swept up in the mass
Of lies believed, corruption swallowed
What's done to today, forgot tomorrow
The media, the news subject to be bent
I am more than my government

Do we dare to cross this line?
Can we stand among the others
And willingly commit our crime
We are strangers. We are lovers
Of people standing, strong united
Honest fights, wrongs swiftly righted
I don't know where our values went
But I am more than my government.

You're a villain, you're a coward
We have justly earned our power
There will never come an hour
Where our loyalty is tried.
To be a member of this nation
You must accept our delegation.
Your doubt is based on imagination.
We would never tell you a lie.

If I always have the right to say 2+2 is 4
If I can easily distinguish between times of peace, times of war
If I can freely say I disagree with you
Am I free of bars?
Am I free of chains?
Can I be embarrassed of my country
And still be proud of my name?
Is that too extreme? Too psychotic?
Cause I could never be blindly patriotic

(Lots of repeats!!!!)
