Super Mario Bros 3 play through part 18 (world 8 & end)

The final battleship, and then Bowser's Castle. There are a few different paths to take in here, including some that take you back to the start. You can skip a bit of the castle by jumping on top of the 1up block like I did. I thought about using the hammers on Bowser, but it's more fun to kill him the normal way. And then the ending. I always found the ending song to be unique, I don't remember percussion like that ever being in any other NES song.

That's a good question. I really don't know why. I never had much trouble dodging them, so it wasn't necessary? Or maybe I just wanted to have the hammer suit on, since it's something you can't have 80% of the game.

WTF at 2:34...and I thought I knew this game inside-out, as I've beaten it dozens upon dozens of times.

Then again, I thought the same thing when I picked up a hint book in Japan and saw stuff I and most Americans never saw before :-/

they really need to make a super mario bros 4, galaxy and 64 were good games but i want to explore the mushroom kingdom and all these places in 3d and not a sidescroller, nice vids btw
