A group of student engineers is helping a Payson-based animal shelter that rescued dogs displaced by Hurricane Katrina. NAU's chapter of Engineers without Borders is partnering with Tara's Babies animal sanctuary to design a water storage and irrigation system to meet the needs of the rescued animals.
I am glad you are doing this work! I am a mechanical engineering student and animal lover, and am trying to find a workplace where I can incorporate both into my career.
