Agree with you on the old mk1 997s. Even though the old 997s kicked the M6 on the Isle of Man street circuit. The new one MK2 is a different story. I used to race a rs6 on my way to work when i first got my mk1. It was pretty much even, which was down to weight. But when we got down to braking i was all over him.

I have raced 997 Carrera S (Mk I) many many times. M3 IS the faster car! My M3 is 100% stock. But 997 S Mk II is a different story.... way faster than current M3.

I would agree with you on the stock mk1. But with the powerkit its a different story. MK1 which should have had the 380 standard really like the Mk2 has now.

I never understand these races...in a former race of yours, a 415 hp gt3 (996) beats a 500hp Gallardo, but a 385 hp (997) loses to a portly 400hp M3...am I missing something here?
p.s. I'm not dissing the m3...magical car, but I thought Porsche faster

the porsche is not the 2009 carrera s model! its the old 997 carrera s with 355 hp! and the european version of the m3 has 420 hp! ;-)

ya POrsche is faster of course, but the problem here that these cars r Manual, so it depend on how good the driver is.

i just saw Race but between M3, Carrera s convertables, the Porsche blow the M3.

its all about the driver in Manual

you should race the c2s PDk with the DKG m3..
