Kata is situated behind the southern promontory of Karon and is divided into two parts: Kata Yai (Great Bay) and Kata Noi (Small Bay), KATA is an interesting beach.
The small island of KO PU is at short swimming distance from the beach and along the run there are beautiful coral barriers.
