██ Operation Uranus ██

In Autumn the Soviet generals Aleksandr Vasilevsky and Georgy Zhukov, responsible for strategic planning in the Stalingrad area, concentrated massive Soviet forces in the steppes to the north and south of the city. The German northern flank was particularly vulnerable, since it was defended by Hungarian and Romanian units which suffered from inferior equipment and low morale. The plan was to keep pinning the Germans down in the city, and then to punch through the overstretched and weakly defended German flanks and to surround the Germans inside Stalingrad. During the preparations for the attack General Zhukov personally visited the front, which was rare for such a high ranking general[3]. The operation was code-named "Uranus" and launched in conjunction with Operation Mars, which was directed at Army Group Center.

On November 19, 1942 the Red Army unleashed Uranus. The attacking Soviet units under the command of General Nikolai Vatutin consisted of three complete armies, the 1st Guards Army, 5th Tank Army, and 21st Army, including a total of 18 infantry divisions, eight tank brigades, two motorized brigades, six cavalry divisions and one anti-tank brigade. The preparations for the attack could be heard by the Romanians, who continued to push for reinforcements, only to be refused again. Thinly spread, outnumbered and poorly equipped, the 3rd Romanian Army, which held the northern flank of the German 6th Army, was shattered after an almost miraculous one-day defense.

I have, of course 2 grandfathers. One, a former romanian officer. The other one, a former Luftwaffe pilot. My romanian grandfather, a Romanian Royal Army leutnant (at the time), was ashamed for being forced to fight against his german mates. He considered to be dishonoured as a soldier and as a man. :) My other grandfather, the german, agreed to him...

Thanks to intelligent people like you(I doubt the fact you read history right). I never called you a scum, so it's clear who would exterminate who. @Kaukomieli22: Nazi Germany last only 12 years, the Soviet Union became a world power. In 1945 Germany was in shambles 20 times worse than before. What glory! The Soviets saved the world from scum like you, saving the lives of possibly billions whom would've been exterminated because they were an "inferior race". One Romanian soldier to walk out of a Gulag was one too many. He was more motivated, equipped and bloodthirsty than the German conscript.

Your soldiers died like cowards: without honor, just the blood of innocent women and children whom they killed because of their race like in Iasi and Odessa.

@hectorbolshevik Hitler brought glory and Bolsheviks poverty and murders. Don't blame Hitler for Bolsheviks crimes! Jew Bolshevism saved the world from a decent life. Count all killed people in Holodomor, Gulag and so on. Remember the poverty that brought down the countries that supported it! Jew Bolshevism is suicidal, as Hitler clearly told you! US had only to wait for the "sick man" to fall!

What Hitler said would bring a thousand years of glory lasted but 12 years and plunged Germany into an economic nightmare that even dwarfed the previous one multiple times over. In the end "Jew Bolshevism" was able to outperform, outproduce, and outfight the "master race" and save the world. And all with Stalin's misleadership ;)
