Nemi Inseparable-Chapter 62

*Demi's P.O.V*
I knocked on the door 3 times. No one answered. I tried it again. But no response. Where could he have gone?

"Hey!" a familiar voice called out.
I looked around but I couldnt spot anyone who could be seen.
"Hey Demitria over here! Look up at our tree house!"
I looked up at a 2 big oak trees; ones right side parted outwards and the other the left also went outwards. It was a perfect place for a tree house to settle. It looked extravagant; Not what I expected a tree house to look like.
"Fascinated arent you? I renovated itit took me 2 years to finish; out in the back I even installed a balcony. Place looks pretty dont you agree?", he smiles at me and the sun is gleaming off his blonde hair.
"oh—", I drifted into a gaze. .
"Hey are you going to come up? Ive got a lot of stuff to show you."
"Oh yeah. Ill be up in a sec.," I replied.
I climbed up the wooden stairs and held onto the handrails. This was worse than riding in an elevator, much more gut wrenching. And wearing high heels didnt help me either. Step by step I took it slowly, trying hard not to look down.*KRCHH~ oop! I slipped real bad. Luckily I was still holding onto the rail with my left hand. But my right knee was scraped and it hurt really bad. I blew at my knee and tried to hold in my tears. Ow, ow. Lucas comes running down the stairs worried.

"Demitria are you alright? "he holds my shoulders and lifts me up to my feet.

"Your hurt! .Come." He looks at my knee and then looks up at me. He sighs and carries me, wedding style.
I gasp. And put both my hands to my mouth while looking at him. He was worried for me. He stood and looked at me straight in the eyes. Breathing heavily as his eyes looked even more worried.
"Be careful next time, okay? I wouldnt know what to do if something more dangerous happened to you,",he asks.

I nod.

We arrived into the tree house and it was gorgeous. The lighting was perfect, vines were creeping in, fresh flowers were on the coffee table, there was even a stove, t.v, and couch! Who knew ! Lucas puts me on the loveseat.
He holds up his index finger "Wait here".

On the coffee table there was a shiny burnished box. It has leaf carvings around it and a carved heart that had (D & L )written in it. I slowly touched the top of the box it had a smooth surface, and touching it gave me a familiar feeling. I opened it up and two tiny dolls danced to the music hand-in hand. There was a metal engrossed "Eternally" below it was a storage spot filled with what looks like memories. Lucas walks in and I close the music box embarrassed. He stops and looks at me then at the music box and smiles. He was holding a first aid kit.
"Here put your leg up on the table" he holds my leg and I feel startled that his touch was electrifying.
He pours some kind of red medication on a large cotton swab.
"This'll cause the bacteria and pain to go away.. It'll sting a bit you can squeeze my hand if you feel like it will hurt. "He slowly dabs on the medicine onto my knee. I claw my right hand onto my knee and look closely at it. It hurt so badly I could feel it gnawing into my skin and I wanted to cry and scream so bad. He blows onto my knee and suddenly it doesnt feel so bad anymore.
"ah..ah.."- I sigh.
He smiles.
I look up and our faces are nearly about to touch from nose to nose. And I dont know why but I just stay put and look at him. My eyes stay still but his eyes search through mine, and I didnt know what to do.
I just feel to safe, comfortable..caught.
Beads of sweat ran off the side of my face.
What should I do?
