johnny majors was also fired after losing to "the other" USC. Oh well at least we have a winning tradition.

Munson's retirement was definetley the end of an era b ut he will be remembered as 1 of the greatest announcers in history. He was a very gracious loser. Go Gamecocks.

pretty cool the audio with both munson and bob fulton. I loved bob fulton, but munson is a living legend. The coaches were ray goff and sparky woods. Far cry from steve spurrier and mark richt.

A rare gem of UGA's radio announcer with video. Unless back in those days regional UGA TV games were called by Munson.
