  • "Red-fell-the-dew-in-Ram-mas Ec-hor" maybe it's my imagination but the intonation in the song sounds like a horse at the canter.

  • I had the same impression. I think the idea of the arrangement was the same.

  • This is beautiful. << Music and Video.

    Theoden was a great King.

  • I think what made the Battle of the Pelennor Fields so great was that each side had a bunch of diversity in their army. Gondor had Imrahil, Forlong, Hirluin, and all the other captains each with their own different type of soldiers along with Rohan. Mordor had the Haradrim, Easterlings, Variags, Orcs, and those "Troll-men" with the red tongues and white eyes. I think that is whatmade the battle so epic!

  • Gotta read the books again!

  • this compeletely made my day..

  • @gnrfan11 You need to read the books bro! The army of the dead is not even in the books! Aragorn actually returns with a host of men from southern Gondor to rescue Minas Tirith. There is actually a good battle if you read the books!

  • Reminiscent of Buglarian orthodox, and so, so beautiful. It gives the epic such a different light.

  • @gnrfan11 I completely agree! Especially since in the book the Dead Army never arrived at Minas Tirith, they helped out at the harbour where lots of Gondorians were freed. But PJ cut the Northern Rangers out as well which was a real shame too, I like them so much!

  • @gnrfan11 If your speaking of the film, you have to consider there is a time limit.

  • @EllethwenEldarwen

Same text, yes :) It's the Rohirric elegy at the end of "The Battle of the Pelennor Fields".

  • Tolkien made this in the style of an OE elegy. Surprisingly, this interpretation is absolutely great for me, even as it isn't in a wannabe-Old Germanic style. I like The Tolkien Ensemble even more than the music of Howard Shore (which is brilliant).

  • Hey look, five people who thought this was somehow related to Twilight didn't like it.

  • @gnrfan11 You got that right. They could have handled it better.
