  • Thank you so much! I now understand about the grammar sections. I will now put those grammar points into a sentence. I'll focus on the five [who] questions this week, then I'll start on the [what] questions. I knew 제주 is an island, but I thought you were using it as another word for that dialogue. Just like my translator gave me [sacred wine, chief mourner, and drink - offering.] I will go ahead and watch the video again.

    Thanks again,

    Joshua Merced

  • @joshuamercedtv No problem at all

  • Hi^^ did you use the same method (teach yourself isn't ?) to learn Japanese ? If not, which books did you use ? Thanks in advance ++

  • @TealLee When I first started to learn Japanese, I didn't use Teach Yourself. I used a lot of phrasebooks and dictionaries. The only official course I had at the time was a book called ''Yookoso''

  • So for example if you're combining chapters 3, 4 and 5 for grammatical points for one week, do you also listen to each dialogue from those chapters in that same week? How would you divide time for each dialogue within one week? There is usually more than one dialogue in each chapter, so how do you schedule time for each listening?

  • @BrokenClocks08 Like, for that week, you will focus on listening to Chapter 3 for the entire week, although you will be working on constructions from chapters 3,4 and 5. When the next week comes, listen to chapter 4, but work on constructions from Chapters 6,7 and 8.

  • I think the word might be "classifier" instead of "counter".

  • @laoshu505000 Thank you !

  • @laoshu505000 Sounds good, thanks a lot :D

  • 도 is the counter(i don't think that's correct term) for islands in Korean language.

    제주(Jeju)+도(the counter for island)=제주도(Jeju Island)
