This video covers the installation of a Pentair Intelliflo pool pump. We start by showing you how to remove your old pump and install your new one to reduce energy costs and optimize the performance of your pool system.
The variable speed pumps are a great way to reduce energy costs because they run at lower RPMs for longer periods of time to consume far less energy than traditional, single speeds. These pumps qualify for rebates from most utility companies as well as some governments (city, state, municipalities).
http://www.PoolGuySupply.com offers these pumps at an affordable rate. Call (949) 371-6063 to find out how you can reduce your pump's energy consumption by up to 70% and qualify for rebates.
Thanks for taking your time to put this on youtube. It will help me immensly.

get a life... there isn't a correct install if he did it wrong.

So its ok if you install something against the manufacturer's recommendation. I wonder if you told the customer this lol

@lukepoolservice Did you copy that out of a book? It's recommended, not absolute law. Did you notice the configuration of the old pump? Did you take note of the very tight area he is working? It would have been best if you worded it as "Hey, Pentair recommends at least 1 foot lead pipe on the intake line..."
He did a correct install, given the extremely tight area of the pool pad.

You didn't leave enough space between the suction of the pump and the 90. You at least need 1 foot!
