My dad bless him was a window cleaner and a chimney sweep for many years and we all enjoyed listening to George and watched many of his films as kids. He was not from our world as kids but he crossed over the age gap into everyone's lives.

I remember asking dad if he saw some sites when cleaning windows. He said "I don't discuss business son" He then added " well there was a lady next door to the house I was cleaning, sun bathing naked. I must have taken five thou off the window with the shammy

God , I miss this man and his films and all !-( must be getting old LOL -)-and Norman Wisdom as well - god , irreplaceable !-what are we stuck with now ?--makes you long for these days in the industry !( not the hard times ..but it did bring fourth a lot of British humor, ( the best in the world, News BBC,films,a whole lot and saving europe's arse in the war too !-and what do you get back ? the sheer speed of his playing is amazing - the best example I think is the end few seconds to the "Leaning on a lampost" track. Just when you think he can't get any faster - he does. Wonderfull to listen to and watch.
