ABOUT THIS VIDEO: Between September 2008 and May 2009, Shedd Aquarium Pacific White Sided dolphins Kri, Tique, Katrl, and Piquet were housed at Mystic Aquarium's marine mammal observatory while their exhibit was undergoing renovations. In May 2009, Kri and Tique were moved out of Mystic Aquarium by Shedd and were moved to the Miami Seaquarium for a breeding loan in exchange for their juvenile pacific white sided dolphin Ohana. Shedd Aquarium currently has three Pacific white sided dolphins: Katrl, Piquet and Ohana. Meanwhile, the Observatory earlier this summer, was used to house three California sea lion pups-Jetty, Cali, and Sakari until August 2009 when Cali and Sakari were moved to the Pribilof Islands Exhibit while Jetty was moved to the Marine Theater to live with sea lions Coco, Surfer, and Boomerang.
ABOUT THE GURDON AND KATHY WATTLES MARINE MAMMAL OBSERVATORY: Opened to the public for the first time in September 2008, this animal exhibit is for marine mammals that arrive at the facility while undergoing post-rescue rehabilitation, being under quarantine for a short period of time before eventually joining the aquarium's marine mammal collection, or are from other facilities and are in need of temperate housing.

Omg I love Shedds! Thank you so much! I have such a passion for marine mammasl. i just watched the killer whale attack in Orlando video and i cried but then I watch this and i smile. I dont think it was the whales fault. I have such a passion for these animals! thank you sooo much! I'm suscribing! I loved it! sad that they sent 2 of my babies to miami though. wenever i go i miss them :(. hopefully they come back! :) Thank you! I loved it!

I am sooo glad my phins are back. I missed them. But now the Brookfield Zoo dolphins are in Minnesota while they redo their habitat, and I'm really attached to them. But I'll just have to wait...
