Went out there today. Had a great day of catches, total of 20+ fish from the points (mostly long point) and about 7 from the rio grande. Biggest catch was a 6 pound carp. I felt pretty good when I reeled that guy in hehe.

best times jan to april nortn narrows of lake ancor dont move, use baitfiish strong line good luck i used 30pound line busted by a biig one couldnt get in like wrestling

yeah we drove around the corner by rock canyon and 3 turtles jumps off a rock...... about the size of paper plates!

lol we were there this week and we caught 6 12-14 inch white bass and a bunch of catfish, carp, and bluegill/sunfish.
21 fish altogether!

if ya catch any bluegull, a good size sinker, #2 hook, good line,use bluegull for bate at 25 feet and get you a good size striper !!!
