The first outing of my Seidel 770 70cc seven cylinder radial engine. Further tuning achieved an idle of 1300 rpm with no glow - with glow and it finally kicked out at 700rpm... Propeller is a Menz 24x8, a 24x10 will be fitted soon. Fuel to run in is 10% synthetic oil straight.

  • ARE you in the uS???

  • no, I'm in the UK near London

  • this is one of the Indian engines. The quality seems excellent, I have not seen a German made equivalent to compare directly to but I have no complaints about this one.

  • how much is power this engine ???

how many Kw or hp ???

  • Is there a reason a lot of people decide to bolt the engines to a bench? I mean, is it for a purpose and cant you do it in a plane anyway? Or is it a lot easier to see it running on it, because mounting onto a plane takes too long and you cant wait to see it. :P

  • what type is the carburettor?

  • Great, hope to see the new 9 cyl soon

  • Is this the older German made Seidel or the newer Indian made version?
