I must correct a misperception that you have about the term "Hybrid".

Hybrid is the corporate-spin word that means "alternative transportation that still burns some Gasoline".

See, Electric cars like we had back in 1890 or in the 1990's run entirely without costly, polluting and limited OIL.

Electricity can be generated many different ways and is totally renewable.

So watch your use of "Hybrid" as it means to still suck oil from the profiteers.

Running around like chickens with our heads cut off. The DEMONCRATS have been saying for years it will take 8 years to develop offshore oil. That was 20 years ago.

Drill, drill drill, more options for fuel..... If you think the terrorists in the Middle East would be a threat without our oil funding their countries, think again. Cut off their economies and they will NOT be a problem.

The best thing is to go totally hybrid. No more using oil of any kind. Brazil is using sugar cane and Iceland is developing hydra fuel. Yes running on water. Offshore drilling is not the answer either. Do the research. There are healthier ways to approach the energy crisis. The technology has always been around but our government would not fund it. This could have been taken care of years ago now we are running around like Chicken Little's.
