The people cheering are the same ones who claim that America is a Christian country.

I'm not an american. but I would think the answer to that is so that he doesn't DIE! There's nothing for you to figure out here. Its just a matter of opinion and morals. You think that the fellow American should die, and some people don't. The reasoning for why he should or shouldn't die doesn't matter. Obamacares mandate is going to solve this problem, there's no need to argue for it anymore.

No actually I just happen to be far more familiar about the philosophy of the free market and how it's intended to operate. If you can't even differentiate between a freer market with limited government control and a free market in which there is no government control at all then you really don't know a thing about this kind of subject. You just like throwing the word "free market" around without truly understanding what it means.

Well fuck, the ambulances use government funded road I suppose. You're being overly pedantic and I'm not interested in having a discussion like this. Good riddance to you.

You've used an example of a freer market not a totally free one. If you want to say you've used a good example of a freer market, that's fine. But if you're going to say it's an example of a free market then you've picked a lousy example. The government is still involved in regulating not just its health services but its economy as well. In order for it to be a genuinely free market the government does not get involved at it. It makes no laws, no mandates, no regulations and uses no coercion.

If the government is involved, even slightly, its not a genuinely free market at all. You can plausibly argue Singapore an example of a freer market. But if you're going to argue that it's a authentic showcase of a free market at work then you couldn't have picked a worse example.

It's more free market than other places. The free market isn't a god. But it works best when left alone.
