Hi Iain ! A good memory ! Did you know, though, that "Rule Britannia" fits really well on the nine notes of the pipes too. I play it quite often - including once on one of Ringwood P. B.'s trips to France (when I was tuning up) ! Best Wishes from Surrey, Bob.

Beautiful voice. Except for that small goof (understandable), it was majestic.
And for general knowledge, Scotland was never truly conquered by the British. In fact, it was peacefully integrated with the English and Welsh kingdoms by the 1706 Act of Union, and previously, the Union of the Two Crowns, under James VI (a SCOTTISH King), who succeeded the English queen Elizabeth I.
