I remember when gameinformer had the second one on the cover. My friend showed me and assured me that this game was a nightmare. His words were based upon hearsay, as he would admit, so i wasn't expecting much when i took the reins and bought the game.
I have never been so wrong in my life.
I dreaded every corner, every hall way, every isolated sound. I knew that somewhere, there was something waiting, watching. Itching for the chance to rend the flesh from my bone.

@K86bG I was 13 when I first played Dead Space back in '08. But it doesnt mean I'm a exceptionally violent person.

@Kuhlfurst Enjoy it! It's a great, great game. I envy you for being able to play it for first. It was a wonderful gaming experience for me. :)

I also feel myself much more tied to the first part. The second part was really good indeed, but, somehow... I don't know, maybe I felt SO scared with the first part that I didn't really care about dying at all upon finishing it on "Impossible". Good memories come to me.

Just got this game from Steam sale... DAMN IT'S AWESOME. Especially in the middle of the night. What in any other game would have taken me fifteen minutes to do took me an hour in Dead Space, because every time I enter a room I must scan it properly before entering... No knowing where those freaks are.

Dead Space 2 was really good, an outstanding sequel to it's predecessor

the second was good, but the first is a classic to me. the feeling you get walking around the ishimura for the first time, afraid of whats going to happen when you see/hear something and begin checking all around you. the fear begins to flow through you and your afraid to keep going on, but you know you have to. thats how i felt when i first played the game, i was 12 btw
