Looks like it could just be the data rate setting. I found this on a video I saved as Flash. Change the data rate from 256 to 1050 and got the sane quality when I uploaded it. Wasn't on a Mac though :(

Yep, I made it using a "camelback" , an ultralight fishing pole, and some odd bits and pieces, the camera is only 2 feet behind although it looks like a long pole

Select H.264 compression with BEST for every setting. That will do the trick! Keep the resolution the same as original. Great job with the mount...well done!!!
