Sorry, I didn't respond sooner. Yes, that is John Gill. This was truly an all-star band, and this particular performance was a huge highlight of the festival. This one really brought down the house.

Thanks for posting. We just arrived home yesterday from the 08 fest. We are all sorry about the passing of Rich Johnson. What a nice man. The music was terrific as usual. Thanks for the comments.

yeah this year was fun playing at modern woodman park i got to be in the luxury boxes upstairs yeah next year i am playing my cornet and trumpet

I thought Modern Woodman Park was a huge upgrade over LeClaire. Real bathrooms,good close-up seating, plenty of shade, good food, better sound. With all of those positives, I'm sure it won't be a venue next year :(
