dont jerk away when a parrot goes to bite you. It teaches them that biting makes you or your hand go away. Instead you should push into the bite or turn so the bird loses grip

One day I called my dad for a little while. After I hung up, I chucked my cell phone on the bed and walked away. I came back to hear clicking and my dad's voice. My Grey redialed the phone to call my dad, on speakerphone nonetheless, and was having the time of her life clicking and whistling and purring to him. He was so charmed. :)
