i've seen him do solos and stuff like on the july 4th dvd, he's pretty good, but this is nothing like the dvd, this is barely even a riff haha

God he's amazing. Someone needs to smack him upside the head every now and again. Like, we should send someone around with him to just pop him a good one every time he says something about "I wish I could play better" Gosh...

What song was this in the middle of? Is it Naked, or Cuz You're Gone? Or is it something else? What's goin' on?

... that was horrible. that wasn't even a solo. anyone who is worth their salt knows full well that he's NOT that talented at guitar. that's half the reason why he never plays in standard tuning. his 'style' or 'tone' is entirely derived from his bizarre tuning that no one uses.

John can play guitar really well but he is not a lead guitarist in the sense that he has any major solos. In the July 4 DVD he doesn't play too many solos at all? It i the other guy who plays them, John is great with aklternate tunings and what not, but he is no solo performer. He is similar to Jon Bon Jovi, neither play any solos as it is hard to solo and sing at the same time. Keith urban is the best lead guitaris lead vocal going around, he is unbeleavable!!!!

Goo Goo Dolls used to have incredible solos that John often pulled off pretty well even live. Every album since Dizzy they seem to be completely gone. Don't know what happened, maybe John has arthritis and doesn't want to admit it?

wtf that wasn't really a guitar solo. but whatever, it is amazing how well he does being the lead singer and guitarist.

This was okey but nobody really gets that he is a really good guitarists. Singing and lead guitar is hard and he plays awesomly

First, download "Replay Media Catcher" to record the video. Open the program, hit Start Recording, and then play this video and it should record it. Then download "Internet Video Converter." In this program, open the file, and under format select Ipod mpeg 4. Hit the Ipod button and then "start conversion." Then in Itunes, go to your movie library and go File- ad file to library and add that new file to your library. Then you can drag that onto your ipod.
