@klboi56 This type of rifle is perfectly legal for civilians in the US and several other places, and the concepts apply to a shotgun or other long firearm. Additionally, a jab with the barrel is not an uncommon technique.

who carries a rifle? from the look of it that's an assault rifle, not many civilians carry those and trained soldiers are taught to use the butt of the gun not the barrel for meleeing. But the technique itself isn't bad, I just don't see the application.
