Troy,
Whatever you did with Boondock Saints I, was freakin' genius.
Do the same thing on this and everything after. Don't listen to the critics - they are in a club the rest of us don't want to be in.
You had an original idea - take that and go FORWARD! Stay original!

I said film. You might try the "about 20 smaller film makers" mark.
Everyone in the film industry uses Avid, only a few (maybe 10, 20 at most) real feature films have been edited on Final Cut Pro to date.

Yep it's on a Sunday. Unspoken rule to not release on a Sunday? Boondock Saints will break your "unspoken" rules. I would go watch a movie on Sunday rather than Friday.

I made a reply to a comment months ago about the release date. Someone guessed it would be the first of November, and I said it wouldn't be because it was a Sunday. The release date was announced for November 1st, at least I added a however at the end in case he was right.

No, they aren't ten years behind. If a movie and it's sequel came out in the same year, that'd be fucking weird. Chronicles of Riddick came out 5 years after the original and no one slams that for being late. So, if anything, Boondock Saints II is five or six years behind.
