102 Romanian soldiers belonging to the Romanian Marine Infantry Battalion, have been training for over a month alongside 43 American Marines. Together they participate in an exercise, whose script applies to real incidents in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The theater of operations is the Babadag shooting range, a range that in the last four years had been used for these type Joint training applications with the American Military.

The Black Sea Exercise 2011 is taking place from 1 Apr. - 15 Sept. 2011 and is organized by the US Marine Forces Europe in collaboration with the Romanian Armed Forces."
