Islamic Terrorists Threaten To Attack The Beijing Olympics

As the countdown to the start of the Beijing Olympic Games begins, eager anticipation and the spirit of sportsmanship spreads throughout the country and throughout the entire world. But in the final hours before the games commence, one question is on the tip of everyone's tongue: Will Islamic Terrorists taint the 2008 Beijing Olympics with bloodshed? On Monday morning two terrorists from an Islamic-Chinese separatist group carried out a massive terror attack in which they crashed a truck into a crowd of policemen and then launched homemade explosives devices killing 16 Chinese policemen. Yet despite the recent attack the Chinese government insists that the country is secure and there is nothing to fear. 08/05/08

China has nothing against Islam. They are simply doing what they need to do to protect their country and their citizens. But it provoked, China would spare no time in eliminating the threat. War should never be promoted, even if you win you gain nothing. And tolerance is something China throughout history has promoted, although there have been times where it is the contrary. Islam is a religion that encourages religious tolerance and peace. The violence is caused by radical groups not Islam.
