this game has some of the SH*TIEST stories and characters I've ever seen in any RPG game!! the only fairly good thing about this game is the battle system

They could have worked harder on the cut scenes and models, But, personally, I think it was a good idea to use the in-game models in cut scenes, instead of using CGI movie renders. The models were both made in entirely different styles, and would have clashed horribly during game play. They just should have modeled the characters faces better, and the game would have looked way better. I'm a HUGE SO4 fan, But I totally agree with you on the visuals. Still a fun game in my opinion.

I tried so hard to give this game a chance. I just disliked the character models because they looked like "doll faces." But, the thing that really made it unbearable to play this game was the English voice actors. I loved SO:3 and its my favorite game of all time. I loved the characters, story, and different environments you explore. This game let me down. This is a beautiful game, so I don't understand why they didn't have a bigger budget to hire good English voice actors.

Just bought this game as my mate reccomended it to me as he is a RPG nerd like me, I reccomended him Neir and he loved it, underrated game, now he said this was and will play it tomorrow, the game looks brilliant from this so lets get it on haha :D

@MegaFFun That was En II. The planet above was attacked and likely rendered uninhabitable. I am curious about the planet myself. It is held in a shell that is essentially a space ship.

I've been a fan of the series and i think the game is great. The character developments are really interesting and the battle system is fun to use . Yeah another great star ocean game :D

I really liked the fighting system, but the entire storyline gets tainted since everything bad that happens is just viruses created by the 4th dimension people like Luther. Even though the story of 4 happens around 700 years before 3 in the Eternal Sphere, that could possible be only a few months time to the 4th dimension people.

@Surakez All the Star Ocean's are connected. To be precise, you can arguably state that SO3 is the "last story" in the Star Ocean franchise. In this story, we see humanity breach into space for the first time. Personally, my favorite Star Ocean is the second.
