@NaiTaiDai for a 70`s US TV series, it was effective,considering movies like "the Dunwich horror" was at cinemas then, more eerie that scary. However, I would have long been gone before they did personally!! someone got in my bed in the night and roughed me up I wouldn't be sleeping in it the next night, coco or not!!!!!

Cousin Zachariah that is shown at the door and goes upstairs to get the trunk is actor Alan Napier.
He played Alfred the Butler in the 1960's Batman tv show.
