the G8 was built in australia by australians for the australian market then was exported to every continant on earth . You will next see it as a chevrolet caprice and as your new police patrol cars if the bid is successful . Holden was an australian company originally and was bought by GM when they wanted a car company in the asia/pacific region at around 1940-45 , holden built the first aussie car in 1948 . The camaro sits on a commodore platform ( G8 ) to you guys and uses many holden bits .
