  • This is completely normal....it's like skyrim but not as cool. Or perhaps very weird and confusing for my brain. O_o

  • @jesterchainer I've done stage fighting with real but blunted swords, and SCA fighting with rattan swords. You would be surprised how fast you can swing a true broadsword or even a hand in a half sword (also known as a bastard sword) However, I do admit that some of the hits, especially repetitive hits would not be deadly even against leather armor. However each their own, if they say it counts, it counts, there's always skill in not getting hit :P

  • Many larps seem to have a propensity for not having sufficient backgrounds, and the like. In the several Ive been in and the 12+ years Ive been doing them, the game structures are designed to incorporate better roleplaying...when combat comes, it breaks down.... I think a more involved game might better provide this.
