  • MY BEST CHINESE FILM EVER!!!!!!!

  • Tang Wei has no breast

  • This movie is beautifully made. But as a chinese descent, I find it so dark, intense and depressing that it is hard for me to watch it the second time. I think it has something to do with the cultural-historical imprint that we have inherited, even though we've never really lived through the WW2 era. I would imagine that it would be like having a Jewish descent watching the Schindler's List. Almost too intense to sit through the entire movie.

  • That guy looks like Asian Barack Obama

  • Beside "Hero", this is the best Chinese movie I've ever seen. Ang Lee is such a genius. Tang Wei and Tony Leung are brilliant! I've watched this movie many times and I never get bored. It's awsome.

  • Sigh, hearts will melt watching Tony's performance.

God damn, his eyes can kill.

  • @TheMeatloaflover Ang Lee was born in Taiwan. He spent some 8 years in the US getting his education in film.

    He is Chinese/Taiwanese.

  • @TIE47v Agreed: Of all the Tony Leung Chiu Wai performances I've seen, this is by far his best. It would be impossible to improve on it. Same for Tang Wei.

My favorite scene -- the acting is tops -- is that in theteahouse where Mak Tai Tai sings to Mr. Yee. Powerful.

  • i saw the movie and i liked it much, beside the girl are so cute and the best thing i liked about her is her NIPPLES my god ,

  • The way to a woman heart is through her vagina. To be more explicid, he should have used the word cunt instead. After all, the intense sex scene was real sex fro sure. When I saw that movie in Korean theaters I acted like a football hooligan yelling out, "Fuck Her! Fuck Her Hard! Fuck her pussy till it rips open! Now that explicid response to a film like that.
