I'm going to buy one,sometimes less is more a good simple knife that you can use and beat up without breaking the account.@AFNenlighten I bet your clothes were made in Bangladesh or Indonesia but you won't carry a Chinese knife why?Because you only buy American hahaha that's a dream only American's can make come true but in a recession like we're in who can afford to be bias anymore,I wish we could but I can't with a mortgage and children.

The handle actually has torx screws now allen screws

@wwwknivestowncom i bought mine on ebay and it came with the Securex sheath and i must say its a great sheath with a lot of holes wo which you could tie paracord or something of the sort

@Wessidebrotha This one would be a great start. You might also try any of the Boker Magnum fixed blades, such as the Elk Hunter, Outback or Safari.

@pieordie12 Thats OK, you're entitled to your opinion. Admittedly, the sheath is not a multi function made of kydex with bells & whistles. At this price point I think CS chose to put the money into the knife mostly. Remember, they are offering a 12 , full tang knife of 1055 with sheath for a modest price and they still need to make a profit. Your points are well taken, however I see the sheath a little more charitably. Cordura is tough material and if cared for this will last a good while.

@wwwknivestowncom on the cold steel site, they show this knife in a cool hard case. do you know where it is possible to get that sheath?
