**EDIT** WATCH MY OTHER VIDEO FOR THE PROBLEM WITH THIS MODIFICATION!

I take no credit for this modification. Just a quick tutorial on how to modify your stock air intake box to allow more air to flow through your 2009-2010 Ford F-150.

  • Hey have you got a programmer in this truck I have the same setup and was looking at some programmers?

  • @alrightythan1 No I wish I did get one, I was looking at trying out the Superchips one, just to see if it made a difference even after I got the K&N Cold Air Intake, it probably needs to be tuned to get full gains from this.

  • im pretty sure you have to unhook the battery for a half an hour

    to reset

  • @kaution9876 yeah I don't know how long it takes. But I know when I do what is shown in the video, you can tell it has reset because even the RPM that the engine decides to shift at, is returned to the lowest setting. So also if you are eating through lots of gas because your tranny has adjusted to the way you drive. Reset the battery the same way shown, and it will start switching as low as possible while driving. I do this once every couple weeks. Tranny always adjusts to your driving habits.

  • Another great video! ;)

What video camera are you using. The sound quality is excellent.

  • @MCP2002 I am using a... Panasonic DMC-TS2 Waterproof and shockproof camera. 14 Megapixel with 720p video recording. Pretty good little camera, bought it mainly for when I go to down south, to go swimming in the ocean with it. Thanks! Sometimes the mic auto adjusts to really loud noises, so you don't get the full effect of how the exhaust and intake/engine really sound in real-life.

  • take the terminals off the battery and touch them together for 1 minute, that will reset the computer and any codes, works for me on my 03 Expy

  • yea, i've heard a lot of things about battery resetting it too, i'm not for sure exactly how long but it's not just an on off thing
