End of Squat Session vertical jump test. As expected, 4 weeeks of heavy squats lowered my VJ. Give it 2-3 weeks of rest and it should go up again. Fully recovered best jump is middle of red box. Its not happening soon. I'll blast away on GHRs now.

    fatigue from heavy squats shuts down some explosiveness of my legs.

  • have you ever done a serious plyo program? I am also curios to see your updated standing vert vid. With a squat of 400+ with a BW of less then 180 you must be able to go 35+ inches fully recovered. Imagine what a little plyo program would do for you now

  • no serious plyos. just some ballistic 1/4 squats, jump squats and box jumps. i will focus on plyos once i'm happy with my standing vert.
